View from my kitchen: 6:05 - 6:10 am

This morning's sunrise...

I'm not a sunrise/sunset type. Julian will pull my arm off to hold me down to stay and stare with him. But seeing the sunlight, just for a couple of moments, right after it appears outside my window (and everybody else still being in bed)... that I love.

The East is to the left of the picture.

At 6 am, the rays had a limited opening to get through, a crack between the horizon and the cloud cover. The sun caught the tops of buildings, trees, boats and cranes.

Light and clouds generated a special effect of another celestial body hanging over me.

The spectacle was over a couple of moments later when more light came to the picture.

Then I had my coffee, I woke up the others. It ended up to be a mostly sunny day...
