Hania and a daisy

The other day, Hania came back from roller skating and brought this little flower with her. She picked it along the path, carried it all the way home in her hands and gave it to me.

I put in a cup with water.

We didn't know if it would live but it did.

And for the the next couple of days, it would close toward the night...

and open up in the morning.

By noon, the petals would be all unfolded.

Day after day...

By day 6, the little flower would start to fade...

Daisy's life expectancy on the window seal - 6 days. Love connection - forever.
