Apple cake/tart

There is an apple festival at Hania's school tomorrow. I put apples on top to scare the kids away. I have a couple of girlfriends there that teach but would rather be doing something else...sometimes. The cake is for them!

I grabbed this recipe book in a magazine shop in Udine, Italy. Rushed by husbands and kids, in front of a wall of publications, I wanted to scream! I took two books. I managed not spend over 10 Euros...as I was on my way to a large store next door with walls of sunglasses.

Almond milk

I made a switch to almond milk. Beautiful, fresh, delicate and white. It works in crepes, cakes, muesli or in a cup straight up.
