Thanks everybody for nice comments while I was away. So we are back from visiting my folks in the big city and it's Fat Thursday here, in Poland, today. The Day to eat "pączki" (Polish donuts). I was going to make them myself but I'm still stepping over unpacked suitcases and there is another pile of laundry to do. Plus, I'm not sure if my donuts would have turned out that much better. So, this morning, Julian went around the corner and got six. The more donuts you can eat - the more prosperity will come your way...tradition has it.

Julian has been dipping pieces of chocolate in peanut butter, usually after 8pm, and having nostalgic thoughts about childhood and Reese's peanut butter cups (unavailable here, in Poland). So one day, I wanted to be nice and I made the cups for him...

Tart apple mousse is the first thing on my menu when I feel below 50%. This one is especially good, smooth and vary tasty. No sugar added.

We had a little housewarming party, celebrating the finishing of a very messy project (taking down a wall, a brick wall). It gave me the needed push to clean up the overdue mess, laugh to tears with my friends and ... make more cookies. This time, a full version, with more milk chocolate, less sugar and some spelt flour.
